SEO After AI covers one question: how search actually works now that answers, not links, are the product. Google still sends most of the traffic, but AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot decide a growing share of what people ever see — and almost nobody publishes checkable numbers about it.
So we do. Every article here starts from a primary source: a Google Search Central post or dev note, a WordPress core changelog, crawler documentation, a registry release, or a dataset someone published in full. We read it, test what can be tested, and write down what changed and what it means for a site owner this week.
What you will find
- SEO practice — indexing, crawling, technical SEO, Google updates.
- AEO — answer engines: who gets cited, which bots crawl you, what markup earns a mention.
- WordPress — releases, performance, Core Web Vitals, measured rather than guessed.
What you will not find
Rewritten press releases. “Ten best plugin” lists. Predictions with nothing behind them. If an article has no number, no test and no disagreement with its source, it does not get published.
